ORDER
Subject: Onboarding of projects under Public Works Department through the Road Condition Monitoring System (RCMS)
Public Works Department is entrusted for maintaining huge road infrastructure of the State. Maintaining the record of road condition in a digitized manner was under active consideration. Accordingly, a ‘Road Condition Monitoring System (RCMS)’ has been developed and integrated in existing “SAMIKSHA” portal where defects of road, e.g. potholes, alligator cracks, longitudinal cracks, subsidence/ depression are captured using Al-based processing of Road videos through mobile application that can be uploaded in portal using the same.
Login ID & password for using this application has been already provided to the technical officers of the concerned divisions under the construction wing (PWD and PWD Roads) for uploading the video documentation of the roads during the different phases of execution.
Now, it is hereby instructed that the same video documentation regarding all surfacing works undertaken by the department are duly uploaded in the portal during the pre-work, during and post completion stages.
