Grant of Dearness Allowance to State Govt Employees, Employees of Statutory Bodies, Urban & Local Bodies, Teaching & Non-Teaching Employees of Govt Aided Educational Institutions w.e.f. 01.01.2019.
Governor has been pleased to enhance the limit of financial power of the Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/ Secretary for administrative approval for any plan expenditure upto Rs. 20.00 Crore.
State Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners shall draw Dearness Relief @100% of basic pension with effect from 01.01.2018 onwards.

Interest-free festival advance of Rs. 5000/- only may be granted whose revised emoluments on 31.03.2017 is in between Rs. 26,000/- and Rs. 36,000/- per month.
In case a Stenographer is now posted in a lower cadre post, the same will be deemed to have been upgraded within one year by which he/she will be transferred as per Cadre Schedule.
Rules of Management of Recognized Independent Higher Secondary Institutions, 1996 is made as per Section 40 of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education Act, 1975.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the Teaching and Non-teaching employees of Non-Government Aided/ Sponsored Educational Institutions who are in the prerevised scale of pay/ Employees of Statutory Bodies/ Govt. Undertakings/ Local Bodies etc. w.e.f 01.01.2017.
State Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners shall draw Dearness Relief @85% of Basic Pension/ Basic Family Pension with effect from 1st January, 2017.
