NOTIFICATION
Sub: Release of Arrear Dearness Relief to the State Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners for the period from April, 2008 to December, 2015
The State Government had earlier released Arrear Dearness Relief to the eligible pensioners including family pensioners for the period from January, 2016 to December, 2019 in accordance with the modalities prescribed in memo No. 997-F(P2) dated 13/03/2026.
- It has now been decided to commence the process of disbursement of admissible Arrear Dearness Relief (DR) immediately to eligible State Government pensioners and family pensioners for the period from April, 2008 to December, 2015, calculated as per AICPI (100% neutralization).
- The disbursement of such Arrear DR will be governed by the relevant provisions and modalities contained in Memo No. 997-F(P2) dated 13/03/2026 of Finance Department.
- The payment of the aforesaid Arrear DR will be subject to adjustment on account of any short or excess payment that may be detected subsequently in respect of the Arrear DR admissible for the period from April, 2008 to December, 2019.
- In the case of pensioners/ family pensioners who have since expired, the Arrear DR admissible under this order will be disbursed by the concerned Pension Disbursing Authority to the eligible registered nominee(s). Where no such nomination exists payment will be made to the appropriate legal heir(s), as applicable, in terms of Memo No. 75-F(Pen) dated 23/03/2026.
