Whether a person appointed afresh is eligible to get the benefit of icrement as per the order?
A newly appointed person had to join on 2nd January,2008 as Ist January,2008 was holiday.Is the person as above eligible to get the benefit of icrement as per the order?
sir, I was working in Dy station suptd. in railway and drawing basic Rs 17260 including grade pay 4200, now I have been selected for branch manager in employee state corporation in grade pay 4600. my present basic fixed Rs 17140 including grade pay 4600 which is starting pay of this grade.
what shall be fixed my basic and I joined in esic with proper channel through technical resignation on 31/05/12. my increasement is due on first july. shall I got the increasement. please advis

I am presently working as a professor in a private Engineering college. I got promoted to this post in October 2009 by virtue of acquiring Ph.D. In our college 2006 PRC scales are being implemented. Now an associate professor has acquired Ph.D and as such he has been given promotion as Professor. But he, who is junior to me in professor cadre, is drawing more pay and salary than me.
May I know whether I am eligible for stepping up of my pay and salary? Kindly let me know the necessary rules and regulations laid down for private engineering college teachers by the government of India.

I am at present working as Executive Assistant (PB 7100-37600, GP 3600) of a Gram Panchayat under West Bengal Panchayat and Rural Development Department since 15.11.2011. Before taking this job I was an employee of University of Kalyani as Junior Assistant (PB 7200-25400 GP 3300) since 26.10.2006 which is under West Bengal Higher Education Department. Both services are permanent manner. My questions are (1). Whether I can get the benefit of Service Continuation? (2). Whether I can get the Pay Protection Benefit? Because I am getting at present less Gross Salary than the last job’s gross salary.

increment in the new pay band
I have joined as a Reader in psychology department of Allahabad university on 1st March, 2004 in the pay scale of 12000-18300. after completion of 3 years in the scale, the university Allahabad placed me in the pay band of Rs. 37400-67000 as on 1st March, 2007 and they have sanctioned me annual increment on 1st July, 2007 and the basic is Rs. 38800/- I have left the University and joined in a State Government University(S.V.University) on 16th July, 2007. I have submitted my LPC and asked them to protect my salary. The University Administration is objecting my previous employer’s LPC stating that annual increment should have not be given in the month of July. please let me know whether I am eligible to get the annual increment or not in the revised pay band (this is not additional increment)

I needed to know the basic criteria of pay protection in teaching medical colleges or in general. What is the basis and point of pay protection by original definition? is it the salary being drawn at time of notification, application, interview or result of current occupation or is it the pay drawn right at when the last job was resigned from and joined afresh at the new position? Can anyone furnish or indicate the governmental guidelines on this? I belive that it is the lastmost pay drawn in continuous job. Plz help.
I joined to the post of assistant professor in March 2010, in the pay scale 15600-39000 with GP:Rs. 6000 with starting Basic (PB+GP=21600). prior to joining the post I drew salary with basic pay (PB+GP=22250) as permanent assistant teacher of Govt. aided HS School. I joined the post with PhD obtained in 2002. I also loose the increment due on 1 July, 2010. May I claim pay protection? please suggest.
I took V.R on2/7/2010.I want to know about grade pay fixation and arrear calculation.Please help me in this regard.

Currently I am working in a central PSU with IDA pattern. Now I have been selected as a Inspector of Boiler in WB Govt through PSC. THIS POST WAS ASKING FOR 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in the relevant field. While appearing before the interview my employer issued me a NOC for appaering the same.
Now my question is that:
(1) wheather shall i get the payprotection as per WBSR rule no-42.
(2) If yes, which portion will be protected? only basic pay or basic+DA
