Department of Information Technology & Electronics hereby establishes Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) to perform the functions assigned to it under Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare Innovation Knowledge) Rule, 2020.
Governor is now pleased to extend the last date for incorporation of the Aadhaar No. for the employees/ pensioners along with their beneficiaries above the age of five years up to 31.03.2023.
Last date of incorporation of Aadhar Number of existing beneficiaries above the age five years is 30.06.2022 failing of which they may face inconvenience to avail uninterrupted benefit under this scheme.
Seeding and validation of Aadhaar will be done instantly at FPSs through ePoS machine on the basis of Aadhaar based Biometric Authentication. Aadhaar seeding process is started from 22.07.2021 onwards.
Progress of Aadhaar enrolment in West Bengal is presently 54% in the 0-5, 73% in the 5-18 and 105% in the 18+ age group have been issued Aadhaar numbers.
From 2016-17 onwards, Aadhaar has been made mandatory for all Govt subsidies/ scholarships which would be disbursed directly into the beneficiary’s bank account seeded.
Every resident shall be entitled to obtain an Aadhaar number by submitting his demographic information and biometric information during enrolment.Next Page »
