Chief Secretary/ Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of West Bengal – No Limit. Principal Secretary/ Secretary to the Government of West Bengal – Rs. 1,500 p.m. Officers in the rank of Special Secretary or equivalent, Chief Engineers – Rs. 1,200 p.m.
Before reporting vacancies in all Group B, C and D posts for filling up by direct recruitment through the Public Service Commission, West Bengal, approval of the Appointment Committee of the cabinet will have to be obtained.
Pay of the part-time Group – D employees paid out of the contingencies may be fixed in the following manner w.e.f. 01.06.2009: For doing duties more than three hours per day – More than Rs. 1500/- but not more than Rs. 2000/- p.m.
The 10/20 years service for CAS-90 and 8/16/25 years service for MCAS-01 should be counted from the date of initial appointment as Pharmacist Grade III as the said revision of scale(s) is not upgradation but substitution of scale(s).
Governor is pleased to make the following amendments in the West Bengal Services Recruitment of English Typists (Basic Grade) Rules, 2008 issued with this Department notification No. 8135-F dated 03.11.2008.
Governor is pleased to decide that the condition of rendering three years’ service for admissibility of the benefit of family pension in case of death while in service be reduced to one year service.
