Campaign regarding Withdrawal of User Charges at Hospitals
Paying beds and cabins have now been converted into free beds. Superintendent of hospitals should allot these free beds for maternity, paediatrics and other IPD services to ease out congestion.
Free Diagnostics, Pathology, Therapeutic & Surgeries and Beds
User charges imposed in all the secondary and primary hospitals of the State is withdrawn to allow free diagnostics, pathology, therapeutic & surgeries and beds.
Provision of Safe Abortion Care Services
Safe Abortion Care Services will be provided through empanelled Private registered Medical Practitioners at public health facilities which do not have CAC trained MOs till date or will not be provided with CAC trained MOs in 2014-15.
Executive Committee Meeting for DH&FWS and RKS in Districts
CMOHs will hold meeting with Superintendent of Secondary Hospitals on a fixed day of every month to review the civil & electrical works, hospital performance and sort out the issues raised in RKS meetings.
Admission to Male GNM Course for Dec, 2014 to May, 2018
Applications are invited from Male candidates for admission to three & half years G.N.M. Training Course in Nursing Training Schools under the Govt. of West Bengal. The last six months of the G.N.M. Course will be for internship.
Inclusion of Qualification of Group D Staff in Service Book
All concerned are requested to include higher educational qualification in the Service Book of qualified Gr. D staffs after verification of original documents issued by the competent authorities.
Emergency Health Service during Puja Holidays, 2014
Emergency units of all Hospitals upto the level of Bedded PHCs will remain open on 24X7 hrs basis in order to tackle any disaster if arise during Puja Holidays.
Observance of World Food Day (16th October, 2014)
Food & Supplies Department will provide rice (@ of 5 kg per month), wheat/atta (@ 2.5 Kg per month), musur dal (@ of 1 Kg per month) and Bengal gram (@ of 1 kg per month) free of cost to each such mother and child.

Applications are invited by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal for admission to MULTI-SKILLED MALE HEALTH WORKERS DIPLOMA COURSE: 2 Years + 6 months (Six months) stipendiary compulsory post examination training.
