Government of West Bengal has decided that the Offline classes at UG/ PG and higher level, including Ph. D. and Research works in all General Degree Colleges/ Engineering/ Professional Colleges and Universities will re-open on and from 16th November 2021.

A College teaching staff compulsorily retired from service as a penalty may be granted by an authority, pension at a rate not less than two-thirds and not more than full invalid pension and special additional pension, if any.
These rules may be called the State Archives of West Bengal Research Rules. They shall govern access to all records in the custody of the State Archives of West Bengal.

Pensioners whose basic pension plus dearness relief on pension as on 31.03.2018 did not exceed Rs. 25,000/- are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,000/- per head.
Students of Post-Madhyamik levels and onwards in regular courses, and whose annual family income is not more than Rs. 2,50,000/-, may apply for this scholarship.
Conferment of the status of non-teaching Hostel/ Mess employees and the benefit of General Provident fund and Pension to the Hostel/ Mess employees of State-aided Universities, Government-aided Colleges.
For OBC-A (10%) and OBC-B (7%) seats, implementation will be done over a six year period and the exercise has already commenced from the Academic year 2014-15.
