Promotion and regulation of Higher Education and Cultural development including Technical or specialized education in the State Universities and Colleges.
The age of retirement of full-time regular Teachers, Principals, Librarians and Graduate Laboratory Instructors in all Universities and Colleges shall be enhanced 62 years.
Upper age limit for direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professors and Librarians in Government and Government-aided colleges and State-aided Universities is enhanced from 37 years to 40 years.
