The employee viz Polling/ Counting Personnel who will die a natural death out of strenous work while in due performance of election shall also be paid a Special Compensation of Rs 5,00,000/- only.
Governor is pleased to notify the services pertaining to the Home and Hill Affairs Department including W.B. Police Directorate & Kolkata Police Commissionerate under control of the Home and Hill Affairs Department along with the stipulated time limit for rendering the services.
ALL PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES SHOULD BE TAKEN TO ENSURE THAT THERE IS NO VIOLATION OF LAW AND ORDER AND THAT NO UNTOWARD INCIDENT TAKES PLACE. ATTEMPTS AT FORCIBLE CLOSURE OF GOVERNMENT OFFICES, SHOPS, MARKETS, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS, ETC SHOULD BE FIRMLY DEALT WITH.
