Department of Housing undertakes various activities mainly relating to the framing and implementation of various Social Housing schemes through the Directorate of Housing and Housing Board.
In order to cater to the housing needs of the Lower Income Group and the Middle Income Group, the Housing Department felt the need to make provisions for affordable housing, and decided to introduce a new Housing Scheme, namely ‘NIJASHREE’.
Application Form will be available on sale from 03.07.2015 to 31.07.2015 on payment of Rs. 1000/- only from Banks. Last date of submission of application with all documents is 05.08.2015.
PATHASATHI consists of Pay and use toilet, Waiting room, Night shelter and Restaurant under one roof at every 50 K.m. of National Highway, State Highway and Other important roads in West Bengal.
Allotment of Government accommodation shall be made on first-come first-served basis. An employee can apply for a flat in any Rental Housing Estates (RHE) of his choice.
After ROPA 2009, entitlement of different categories of Rental Housing Estate Flats is revised and tabulated along with Pay in the Pay Band and Category of Flats.
As the Group-C Employee on Probation period is allowed only Basic Pay (including G.P.) and M. A. or only Basic Pay, he/she is not entitled to the occupation of any Govt accommodation.
Apartment means part of a property having a direct exit to a road, street or highway or to a common area leading to such road, street or highway which together with in undivided interest in the common areas and Facilities forms an independent residential unit, and includes a flat.
