Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department (MAMED) works for the development and welfare of minorities to ensure protection of rights and provide opportunities for growth.
A person belonging to a Minority Community (i.e either Muslim or Christian or Sikh or Buddhist or Parsi or Jain) intending to acquire an Apartment will have to apply in the prescribed Application Form contained in the Application Kit.
West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education (Recognition of unaided Madrasahs) Regulations, 2010 shall be applicable to unaided Junior High Madrasah, High Madrasah and Senior Madrasah.
Applicant’s annual family income must be below Rs. 81,000/- (Eighty one thousand) only for Rural areas and Rs. 1,03,000/- (One Lakh three thousand) only for Urban Areas.
‘Paray Shikshalay’ is teaching learning session at community habitation level for children of age group of 5-9 years i.e. from Pre-Primary to Class IV level in COVID times.
Following prescribed Text Books will be enlisted in the Book List of the recognized Madrasahs for the Academic Session 2020. All the text books for classes I to VIII and few text books for classes IX & X will be distributed at free of costs.
