Public Works Department provides infrastructural support for both original and repair works to all the departments directly under the Govt. of West Bengal.
For first call of NIT: Intending tenderers should produce credentials of a similar nature of completed work of the minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 (five) years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice.
Governor has already been pleased to create 21 numbers additional posts of Senior Superintending Engineers and also to convert existing 41numbers of non-functional berth of Superintending Engineer [Selection Grade] into the post of Senior Superintending Engineers.

Tender Committee was required to evaluate the tender in respect of work estimated to cost more than Rs. 50 lac (enhanced limit) on the cost of which may exceed the estimated amount by 3%.

The consumption of fuel shall be restricted to 8 litres per day per vehicle and 5 litres per day per vehicle for operational and non-operational vehicle respectively.
Security Deposit will be released after issuance of Completion Certificate on submission of unconditional BANK GUARANTEE by the Contractor for the Security Deposit.
