To reorganize and restructure the 02 (two) circles under Public Works Department namely, State Highway Circle-IV and National Highway Circle-III with their administrative jurisdiction under (Roads) Dte.
Restructuring of three circles under PW Electrical wing namely, PW (El) Circle-I, PW (El) Circle-IV and PW (El) Resource Circle with their administrative jurisdiction under PW Dte.
Annual Performance Report in new format for evaluation of performance and efficiency of the engineer officers borne in the cadre of West Bengal Senior Service of Engineers, Service of Engineers, Subordinate Engineering Services and Service (in Architect Wing) under P.W.D.
If upon calling for competitive tenders, the number of tenders received is less than three, the tenders shall be invited afresh. Such Re-Tender notice shall be published in widely circulated dailies for conventional NIT and also through e-Tender portal.
Issuance of N.O.C. in favour of incumbents applying through proper channel/ intimation from the applicants to the employer for appearing in the recruitment Examination of P.S.C., West Bengal or other organisation for the post of Assistant Engineer or else.
Governor is pleased to allow posting of Group – D employees, appointed on compassionate ground, to any Circle Office under Public Works Directorate.
Transfer Policy of Head Assistant/ Head Clerk /Upper Division Clerk /Lower Division Clerk /Typist/ Clerk-cum-Typist under Public Works Directorate, Govt. of West Bengal.
A status report on submission of ‘Declaration of Assets’ statement for the last three years may please be sent to the Vigilance Commission within a month.
If the contractor considers any work demanded of him to be outside the requirements of the contract, or disputes any drawings, record or decision given in writing by the Engineer-in-Charge.
