MEMORANDUM
In terms of Memo No:- 1177-F(Y) dated 28-02-2014, enlistment of all types of Contractors since been abolished, a need for developing new contractors who will execute works having value less than Rs. 5 Lacs through conventional open tender system has been felt. To achieved this objective, it has been decided further that apart from bringing in uniformity in the evaluation process of selection for this category of contractors, scaling down qualifying experience and other technical criteria would also be considered.
After careful consideration, the Governor, is, therefore, pleased to prescribe the following documents for determining the eligibility for selection of this category of contractors.
1) Trade Licence
2) PAN Card
3) Professional Tax payment challan/ Receipt (up to date)
4) Electrical Supervisory Licence/ certificate for Electrical works only
Intending bidders shall submit above documents while participating in the bid process in connection with these tenders. Besides, tendering authority while floating these tenders shall abide by necessary conditions as laid down in rule 47 (8) note-2, Sl. No. (i) and (ii) and note-3 Sl. No. (a) in terms of notification no:- 5400-F(Y) dated 25-06-2012 regarding Publication offender.
This order is issued with the concurrence of Finance (Audit) Department, U.O. No:-Group-T/2014-15/0483 dated 04-08-2014.
