B. Ed. Course of untrained Upper Primary School Teachers through ODL Mode will be organised by Netaji Subhas Open University through different NCTE approved B.Ed. colleges of this state.
Such candidates should be allowed extra compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour who are making use of the scribe/ reader. All such candidates should have duly certified disability of 40% or more.
For the candidates who are till not able to have centres allotted to them but have valid Admit Cards may sit for the TET 2012 after obtaining necessary permission from the District Examination Committee.
Control Room would be set up which would function on the day from 8-00 A.M. to 8-00 P.M. The Telephone No., Fax No. and Mobile No. of Officer-in-Charges are given.
The Centre-in-Charge will make seating arrangements of the candidates in the centre/ venue for not more than 2 (two) candidates on a bench and will engage at least 2 (two) Invigilators for not more than 50 candidates.
All Principals/ TIC/ OC of Colleges are advised that upon being approached by WBBPE, to spare the concerned Institute under their control for holding TET Examination for recruitment of Primary School Teachers and also to extend necessary cooperation.
Teaching and Non-teaching staff of secondary schools who would be actually utilised on being appointed by the WBBPE for conducting TET upto 31.3.2013 would be allowed On Duty for the period spent for the purpose of conducting TET.
A meeting will be held on 13.3.2013 at 2.00 p.m. at the Conference Hall, 5th floor, Bikash Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 091 regarding holding of Recruitment Test by West Bengal Board of Primary Education for recruitment of more than 35,000 primary teachers in the State.
Provided in-service teachers will be allowed ‘A’ category scale of pay from the date of attainment of such qualification of D.El.Ed. However persons already possessing D.El.Ed qualification before their entry as a Pry. School Teacher.
