The retiring Government employee should submit Formal Application for pension in the prescribed form i.e. Form No. 5 to the Head of Office (HOO)/ Pension Sanctioning Authority (PSA) not less than one year in advance from the date of his/her date of retirement.
The Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (e-Governance Cell) has accorded approval in respect of direct engagement under Government and extending service benefits to the above mentioned Computer Operators engaged contractually in different offices under Public Works Department.
In view of a sudden call given by a few political parties for a 12 hours’ strike/bandh on 12th February, 2021, it has been decided that all State Government Offices shall remain open and all the employees shall report for duty on that date.
These contractually engaged IT personnel shall be given security of engagement upto the age of 60 years. They shall not be terminated except on the grounds as prescribed in No. 9008-F(P) dated 16-09-2011.
As directed by the Honourable Minister-in-Charge, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has reduced 30-35% of the syllabus in all the subjects for Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E.), 2021.
Governor has now been pleased to prescribe a modified ‘Single Comprehensive Form’ which is enclosed. This Form will replace the existing Single Comprehensive Form introduced under Finance Department Memo No. 416-F (Pen) dated 09.08.2019.
Governor is pleased to notify that the Guidelines of the Manabik Pension Scheme stands modified to the extent that percentage of disability necessary to be eligible for the benefit will now be “40% & above” instead of 50% previously.
Government offices in West Bengal have resumed their normal function, so, physical submission and processing of all bills and advices in Treasuries and Pay and Accounts Offices will be resumed w.e.f 01.02.2021.
