Panchayat General Elections 2018 – Revised Public Holiday

Governor is pleased to declare 14th May, 2018 (Monday) to be a public holiday under the N.I. Act, 1881 for the aforesaid districts for Panchayat General Elections 2018.

In exercise of the power conferred by the explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the Governor is pleased to declare 22nd Shrabana of Bengali Year 1418, (Monday, the 8th August, 2011) a Public Holiday in memory of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore.

Dearness Allowance @ 3% of Basic Pay w.e.f. January, 2021

The whole time State Government employees drawing basic pay upto Rs. 2,01,000/-shall draw Dearness Allowance @ 3% of basic pay w.e.f. 01.01.2021. The calculation of Dearness Allowances shall be made taking into account the revised basic pay and NPA.

Dearness Allowance to Employees of WBCADC w.e.f. 01.03.2009

Governor to say that the whole time employees of WBCADC drawing pay up to Rs. 26,000/- p.m. shall draw Dearness Allowance @47% with effect from 1st March, 2009.

Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare informed that data entry for fresh and renewal cases of Kanyashree benefits is very slow. It should be completed within 31st March, 2015.

Grant of Ex-Gratia Payment to State Govt. Pensioners, 2020-2021

Governor has been pleased to decide that all State Government Pensioners whose basic pension plus Dearness Relief on pension as on 31st March 2021 did not exceed Rs. 31,000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,500/- only in lump per head.
