(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Legislature (Members Pension) (Amendment) Act, 1998.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of December, 1998.
Governor has been pleased to decide to extend the Child Care Leave to the female Government Employees who legally adopted such child. All other conditions will remain same as in F.D Memo No. 9728-F(P), dated 24.10.2011 and No. 1364-F(P), dated 15.02.2012.

Revision of additional remuneration for the Gr. D employees who are operating, duplicating machine in addition to their normal duties in different offices where there is no post of duplicating machine operator, under this Govt. has been under consideration.
A Selection Committee is constituted and a Guideline relating to selection of Trainees for the G.N.M. Training Course, for the session September, 2013 to February, 2017 is issued as per West Bengal state Nurses’ Training (Admission of Students) Rules, 1979.
