The functions of the Finance Department are performed through 5 (five) branches, namely, Audit, Budget, Revenue, Internal Audit and Institutional Finance.
Introduction of new format for furnishing details of service regarding counting of past services. Finance Department is facing difficulties in dealing with the cases of counting past services considering different types/nature of services.
An officer drawing Non-practicing Allowance (N.P.A.) has opted for fixation of pay in the revised pay structure from a date other than 01.01.2016, whether the N.P.A. drawn on the date of option shall be taken into account?
A government employee, after fixation of pay in the revised pay structure under the ROPA, 2019, reaching the last Cell (maximum Pay) of the applicable Level of the Pay Matrix shall be allowed annual increment for stagnation.
Recently BSNL (CTD) and BSNL (WBTC) has taken a ‘Go-Green’ initiative for discontinuation of physical copy of landline bills of BSNL for the consumers and in turn the consumers will get a discount of Rs. 10/- per bill subject to maximum Rs. 100/- for each connection each year.
With the inclusion of Pay Clinic of Government Hospitals and Tata Medical Centre, Rajarhat under WBHS and due to implementation of ROPA 2019, and as such it has been felt necessary to redefine the type of accommodation which the employees and pensioner may avail at the time of indoor treatment.
