Enhancement of Remuneration of Casual/ Contractual Workers, 2024
With effect from the 1st April, 2024 the consolidated monthly remuneration of the above categories of workers will be revised as follows:

Dearness Allowance @ 14% of Basic Pay w.e.f. May, 2024
Grant of Dearness Allowance to State Government Employees and the employees of Government aided Educational Institutions, employees of Statutory Bodies, Government Undertakings, Panchayats including Panchayat Karmee, Municipal Corporations/ Municipalities, Local Bodies etc. and also Dearness Relief to the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners.

Enhancement of Remuneration of Contractually Engaged IT Personnel
The primary criterion shall be nature of job assigned on the date of initial engagement and the secondary criterion shall be minimum qualification and experience on the date of initial engagement.

Advisory for Inviting Tender at the e-Procurement Portal of NIC
Tender/bid documents need not be signed, stamped and scanned for upload. The pdf of the document may be uploaded directly and digitally signed.

Observance of POILA BOISAKH as State Day of West Bengal
The ‘State Song’ shall compulsorily be played with due respect in all State Government functions at the start of the ceremony/ function and the ‘National Anthem’ shall be played compulsorily at the conclusion of the ceremony/ function.
