Promotion Rules for LDC to UDC in W.B.Govt.
I want to know that if there is any concrete rules for promotion to Upper division Clerk from Lower Division Clerk, in West Bengal Govt Service.
I am presently posted at Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate , executing the work of Gazetted Officer Assistant along with TA Assistant. The total force and officers actual strength is 1800.
I am giving you the present strength of Clerical Staffs in my unit, which will help you to answer my question.

Please intimate me as i am in very helpless position , working hard with less pay. My Batch mates are getting promotions in other units , but my Office is not at all interested in promotional matters. Even not at all interested to make 50-point register. Please help me guys. What should i do now ?
