@BIKU: (in reference with point no. 3 by you and Mr. A B Pal) in Bankura district Bankura DPSC has made this optional to take either SUMMER VACATION (for 12days) or CULTIVATION LEAVE(6 days + 6 days in two phases).
But in present situation god knows!!
The period of leave is now 16.05.12 to 04.06.12, i think.

I can’t understand why 16.05.2012to 04.06.2012. Total 12 working days our listed summer vacation ( may be 6+6 days cultivation leave substitute of summer vacation) .12+2 =14 days including 2 Sundays.
So I think it will be 15.5 or 16.5.2012 to 28.05 or 29.05.2012. schools will reopen either 29.05 or 30.05.2012 accordingly.
Am i right my friend? Otherwise please clarify it. with thanks.

Please dont mind dear friend. Very few of the members show courtesy to say thanks by way giving reputation point though your efforts helped many others. It is not. I have written here in case of only Bankura District Primary School Council. a copy of the same posted here.I think Now It is clear that The Schools reopen either 29.05 or 30.05.2012. Awaiting for your comments.With regards.

I think the confusion is arisen because of the difference in two holiday list (i.e. the list of the state for secondary school and the list of the District Primary school). As the primary schools are following the DPSC list pry schools in Bankura should open on 28/5/12 or 29/5/12 and secondary schools should open on 4/6/12 or 5/6/12.
But if somehow it comes to the notice of our honorable govt. that the pry school student will suffer in the heat as their high school counter part then only things can change

Please consider again. I think all Pry. Schools under D.P.S.C. Bankura should open after vacation on either 29.05.2012 or 30.12.2012 (12working days + 2 Sundays). Is not it my friend ?
So far as I know All the Secondary schools do not follow the Govt. Prescribed list. That is why it will be defer School to school.

Friends, I’ve heard that primary schools under Bankura DPSC will remain closed up to 4th June. And the extra days of leaves will be deducted from Puja vacation ,hence the Puja vacation will no longer remain continuous. Is it right? Please upload any notice/circular available in this regard.
