Yes my friend,
An Order all ready Circulated Vide D.P.S.C. Bankura No. 1335/75 dated 17.05.2012.
Summer vacation:- 16.05.12 To 04.06.2012.
Pujabakash (Revised) :- 20.10.2012 to 05.11.2012 (14 working days.) + 12.11.2012 to 15.11.2012 (04 working days) Total. 18 W.days.
School will open in between Lakshmi Puja and Kali Puja 06.11.2012 to 10.11.2012 ( 5 working days.) 11.11.2012 is Sunday.I shall try to upload the order. With thanks.May 25, 2012 at 3:38 am #72680InactiveRe:confusion about end of summer Vacation WB School

Summer vacation completed. Maximum Schools have reopened. Some of Schools will reopen very soon.But heat wave/temperature Increasing gradually. No more closing days in our hands.What will happen now? Does the order not say that it is not necessary to keep open a primary school as there is no admission process going? Please help to understand the following from the order:
“This is subject to condition that the extended summer vacation will be subsequently adjusted so that academic for the current academic session is not disturbed, if necessary through undertaking extra classes after reopening. It is however clarified that such extension of summer vacation will be only in respect of students attending schools. But the school office should remain in case of secondary and higher Secondary Schools so to ensure that the admission process of students in Higher Secondary classes are not affected.”
is the order self contradictory?
according to my understanding only Secondary & H.s. scholl offices are to remain open EXCLUDING the primary school and assistant teachers of any school if he/she is not assigned any office work. Because they have to take extra classes after reopening if necessary… what do you think my friends?

You are right bro. Its itself contradictory.
It is clear that the teaching and non teaching staffs will have to be present during the extended period of Summer vacation but what the teachers will do without the students?
Moreover the vacation will be adjusted subsequently with the holidays otherwise the teachers may have to put some extra efforts by taking extra classes.

Dear friend,
I think, this order vide no. 224(3)-SSE/12dated. 5.6.12 is not clear for the Pry. teachers and also Jr. High Schools. I also think this order all ready sent to all Chairman/Chairperson D.P.S.C. by FAX. We shall go to School tomorrow and declare extended Summer vacation till 17.06.2012 to our Students. Then they will return home and we shall stay at School till closing time. I expect within two days we shall receive a revised order from our D.P.S.C through S.I/S. the idea is no doubt very good. But will then any thing be left to be decided by us? Is there actually any scope to decide anything by ourselves? Are we not compelled to follow any whimsical order made by our ‘democratic’ government/IAS. I’m sorry if I hurt any one but some time I feel afraid to call my self a teacher because I feel our service as a teacher is no more so much important a matter than to follow some odd rule… and we will follow it for our safest service-life And we shall continue teach that there was actually great men who called a spade a spade… and students, you are to be grown like those. Alas once upon a time teachers would guide even the kings and now – an order is issued at any point of time and we rush to follow it. (I admit there is little scope to be brave in our secure middle class life) … Yet we are not govt. servant (how a teacher can be a servant! He is more than that. He is a TEACHER) and so he shall not be allowed child care leave or EL or medical scheme.
I’m sorry for the out pour of the emotions.
Please don’t misunderstand me.I’m very happy that the children will not suffer at school in this heat. I’m also see no harm in attending the school for the teachers to maintain the service norms (though a teacher with out student is no teacher). But should not there be clarity??? Why should teachers have to suffer anxiety all the time for the lack of info and clear order??? -
