My openion is to stop immediately this leave as in most of caaes one can see that CCL used to be misused by the employees. I have already posted a news clip in this regards.November 18, 2012 at 12:48 pm #75395AnonymousInactiveRe: Should Child Care Leave be extended to Lady Teachers by
No system is full-proof. There are some merits and demerits. Pls see the following thread:
https://wbxpress.com/topic/misuse-of-child-care-leave/
Keeping the above fact in mind I would like to say that the benefits of CCL for a max. period of 730 days should be extended to teachers subject to certain terms and conditions which are not stipulated for ordinary female Govt. employees.
Teachers are for the students. Educational institutions are for the students. Therefore, interests of the students should preferably be protected under any circumstances.
Since grant of CCL to too many teachers in the same time should hamper the academic interests of Girls’ and Co-Education schools, there may be some provisions in the rules to sanction CCL in favour of not more than two teachers at a time and, that too in a phased manner. A roster may be maintained for the purpose.
It should be sanctioned for a continuous spell of not less than 90 days so that part time teachers in may be appointed in leave vacancy to uphold the normal functioning of schools.
Excepting the teachers for whom sons/daughters are appearing at major exams. (M.P. & H.S., J.E.E. etc.) there should be restrictions for grant of CCL to teachers during the periods of Board Exams. (M.P. & H.S.) to avoid shortage of staff for invigilation duty etc.November 18, 2012 at 1:56 pm #75396AnonymousInactiveRe: Should Child Care Leave be extended to Lady Teachers by
Excellent thinking dear Polo da. Infact I dont like the disparity between Govt. Employees and Teachers and I also think this kind of leave should be sanctioned in extreme situation only on the ground of illness of the child.July 18, 2015 at 6:56 am #80775AnonymousInactiveFinally, here is the good news for the Female Teachers.
July 18, 2015 at 9:50 am #80776AnonymousInactiveIT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT THE GOVT(BOTH CENTRAL AND STATE) DID NOT THINK OVER THE ROLE OF FATHER’S WHILE UPBRINGING THEIR WARDS/CHILDREN. IN THE EYE OF GOVT. IT SEEMS FATHER HAD NO ROLE TO PLAY. I HAVE A QUESTION TO THE GOVT. , WHAT ABOUT THOSE CHILDREN OF A DIVORCEE AND THEY ARE TOTALLY UNDER THE CARE AND PROTECTION OF THEIR FATHER. IN SUCH CASE ARE THOSE CHILDREN ARE NOT DEPRIEVED FROM THEIR RIGHTS TO HAVE THEIR TIME WITH THEIR FATHER? ARE THOSE CHILDREN DO NOT REQUIRE THE ATTENTION/COMPANY/CARE AS WHAT OTHER CHILDREN ARE GETTING? THIS IS A TOTAL DISCRIMINATION ATTITUDE OF BOTH THE GOVERNMENT TOWARDS THE FATHER OF A CHILD, WHO ALSO REQUIRE THE CHILD CARE LEAVE.
