The Calcutta High Court Division Bench gives verdict against all Open & Distant degrees on 18/09/2013. The case number is M.A.T 1197 0F 2012 // C.A.N.7672 OF 2012. In this case the Bench said,”…such degrees by way of Distance Educational Programmes may be be obtained for the purpose of acquiring knowledge but not for legal profession.” “.. It was further contended that there is vast difference between the standard of a degree obtained by way of regular course as compared to a course of Distance Education Programme”. In addition to that the Bench considers the open& Distant degrees “substandard”. My selected study centre for ODL BED CLASS is 230k.m.up/down from my house ,(also I am a mother of 12month daughter)So I applied an application to transfer me to my nearest Bed college,is it possible?
