    I heard that in one year i can take 15 days of medical leave and 30 days of half average pay leave(again 15 days)
    Is it correct?

    You may enjoy 55 days of medical leave on production of Medical Certificate. At the time of joining, submission of fitness Certificate is necessary. If the S.A. is satisfied then, they may grant or forward it to WBBSE to grant as medical leave.

    Can you please show the calculation for 55 days! I understand 45 leaves (30 ML + 15 Commuted Leaves in exchange for 30 HPL) available after 2 years of service.

    very much confusing.There is lots of contradiction.
    Kindly tell me just one thing how many leave can i take in two years of my service with full pay.

    45 days which was stated earlier,sorry,i have no idea about advance med leave in leave rule.
    moreover there are provision of extra ordinary leaves in manual,u can go through that if your situation demands.

    As we know that anyone can take 180 days medical and 180 days commuted leave in full service period.
    But i heard about advance medical leave.
    Criteria is completion of 1 year service and advance leave will be adjusted from above mentioned leaves after calculation.

    Sir,
    I have a query
    I was in commuted leave on medical ground from 06/08/2012.I resumed my duty on 16/10/2012.
    Kindly guide me that how many commuted leave i took?
    My S.I is saying that you have 69 days of commuted.
    Because 14th and 15 th was approves government holiday.Thats why you joined on 16th october.
    So your commuted leave will be counted from 06/08/2012 to 13/10/2012 and 14th and 15th will be mentioned as approved govenment holiday in your service book.
    Kindly guide me is it correct.I dont want any problem in my future.

    Friend,
    If your medical certificate shows you fit to work on 14th and you had applied for leave up to 13th you can easily count leave up to 13th and 14th,15th as holiday. Besides, when your S.I. is ready to mention 14th and 15th as holiday I don’t think you have any thing to worry.

    I agree with b_roy.
    As per West Bengal Primary Teachers Leave Rules, 1999, Prefixing or suffixing of holidays – Leave other than casual leave may be prefixed to Sundays / holidays / vacations, as the case may be, but intervening Sundays / holidays / vacation shall be counted alongwith the relevant leave.
