The new system will provide benefits such as real-time online services to the subscribers for accessing their Provident Fund Statements, withdrawing fund from Provident Fund Deposit Account and Final Settlement of Provident Fund entitlement.

Retirement Age of College Teachers in West Bengal is now 65

Enhancement of retirement age from 62 years to 65 years in respect of all full-time regular Teachers, Principals as well as Librarians and Graduate Laboratory Instructors of all State-aided Universities and Government-aided Colleges.

Surrender of Unutilized Funds during F.Y. 2018-19

This will enable Finance Department to re-allocate the surrendered funds to those departments which require the augmentation of funds for implementation of their development & welfare programmes.
