The functions of the Finance Department are performed through 5 (five) branches, namely, Audit, Budget, Revenue, Internal Audit and Institutional Finance.
Final Payment of General Provident Fund (GPF) in respect of employees promoted from Group D to Group C who do not have any GPF Account No. issued by Accountant General, West Bengal (AGWB) at the time when the Final Payment becomes due.
Every bill drawn in TR Form No. 70 against such Project IDs would be charged against the approved project cost. Enhancement of approved project cost may be made after due approval of competent authority.
Payment for the Krishak Bandhu (Death Benefit) Scheme may be made either by Direct Benefit Transfer to the Bank Account of the beneficiary or by issuance of Account Payee Cheque.
This will enable Finance Department to re-allocate the surrendered funds to those departments which require the augmentation of funds for implementation of their development & welfare programmes.

Exit Management Sub-Module of HRMS has been developed for processing of pension papers for State Government Employees on retirement whose PPO is issued from AGWB.
Grant of Dearness Relief @ 242% to State Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners whose pension/ family pension has not been revised with effect from 01.01.2019.
All Work Charged employees shall be mapped with their respective Head of Offices in the stakeholder module of HRMS within 15.06.2018.
State Government Employees Group Insurance Scheme, 1987 – New Table of Benefits under Savings Fund for the year of cessation of Membership 2017-2018.
During the period from 01.04.2018 to 30.06.2018, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to GPF shall carry interest @ of 7.6% per annum.
