Upper Age Limit for Entry into Govt. Jobs – 40 years
Government raised the upper age limit for entry into Govt. Service as 40 years for General, 45 years for SC/ ST and 43 years for OBC/ PH candidates. The minimum age is 18 years.

If the date of promotion is between 2nd July to 1st January, the fixation should be made on the same date of promotion. No need to file any option and the promotee will get normal annual increment in each year.
