The functions of the Finance Department are performed through 5 (five) branches, namely, Audit, Budget, Revenue, Internal Audit and Institutional Finance.

Career Advancement Scheme as per WBS (ROPA), 2019

Revised career advancement scheme for State Govt. employees as per WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2019 which will be effective from 01.01.2020 in respect of a new entrant who joined service on or after 01.01.2016.

Clarification regarding LTC and HTC Rules

Further clarification of certain points in respect of Memo No. 7370-F dated 09.10.2015 and No. 427-F dated 25.01.2016 regarding LTC and HTC for State Govt. employees.

Performance Appraisal of West Bengal Govt. Employees

To improve Performance, Efficiency, Accountability and Integrity of the employees of Govt. of West Bengal, Performance Appraisal is implemented. Group B, C and D are guided by Open Performance Report System whereas for Group A it is Annual Performance Report System.

Regularization of Temporary Contractual Employees

The casual/ daily rated/ contractual workers who have rendered 10 years of service continuously with at least 240 days attendance each year may remain engaged in the same status and capacity till their attaining the age of 60 years.
