Finance

The functions of the Finance Department are performed through 5 (five) branches, namely, Audit, Budget, Revenue, Internal Audit and Institutional Finance.


  • ROPA, 2019 for Employees of WBBSE/ WBBME/ WBCHSE/ Universities etc.

    Non-teaching employees of all State-aided Universities; Employees of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education; Employees of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education; Employees of West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education; Employees of West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling.

  • Performance Appraisal of West Bengal Govt. Employees

    To improve Performance, Efficiency, Accountability and Integrity of the employees of Govt. of West Bengal, Performance Appraisal is implemented. Group B, C and D are guided by Open Performance Report System whereas for Group A it is Annual Performance Report System.

  • Attestation by Gazetted Officers

    Group A Officer can attest documents as authorized Gazetted Officer. Group B employee on Career Advancement Scheme will not get the status of Group A Officer.

  • Regularization of Temporary Contractual Employees

    The casual/ daily rated/ contractual workers who have rendered 10 years of service continuously with at least 240 days attendance each year may remain engaged in the same status and capacity till their attaining the age of 60 years.

  • Schedule of General Election to West Bengal Legislative Assembly, 2021

    All Government Offices, Organizations under it, Undertakings, Corporations, Boards, Statutory and Local Bodies, Educational Institutions etc. situated within the Assembly Constituency will remain closed on the respective dates so that every employee is able to exercise his/her right to franchise in the election.

  • Extension of Current Block Period of LTC/ HTC

    LTC, which is scheduled to end on 31/10/2025, shall stand extended up to 31/10/2026; and HTC, which is scheduled to end on 31/10/2025, shall likewise stand extended up to 31/10/2026.

  • Service Book – Opening, Writing, Verification

    Employee shall submit the duplicate service book every year for verification. After necessary entry the same will be returned to the employee. This copy may also be treated as original.
